Research
Lunova works to understand your company, your industry, and the available position through a sophisticated and experienced discovery process.
Your Organization
In order to determine the type of person that will be the best fit for a given role, we must first obtain a solid understanding of your organization as a whole, including how you got to where you are today, and where you are going.
We will take the time to learn about your:
- Leadership Team
- Team Members
- Culture
- Ambitions
Your Industry
Once we have learned about your company, we will learn about how your unique organization fits into your particular industry. While we may already have experience in a given market or industry, it is important to understand it from your perspective.
This includes:
- Competitive Landscape
- Similar Marketplaces/Industries
- Trade Associations, Conferences, Etc
The Job
Once we have a solid understanding of your organization and industry, we then dig into all the job specific details that will be critical in a new role. It is not just about an individual’s work experience, we also need to understand what behaviors and personality will fit with your existing team and culture.

Sourcing
We identify environments where potential candidates exist and build relationships to attract them to your company.
Research
We don’t simply post a job online and hope for candidates to come to us. We perform intensive research in order to determine where we might find the right individuals to grow your organization.

Target
Once our team has identified likely environments for potential candidates, we target certain successful individuals who are likely to fit the profile your organization is looking for.

Assessment
We assess the aptitude and behaviors of potential candidates to ensure a solid fit the organization and the open position.
Behaviors
They may have the experience, but are will they exhibit the behaviors necessary to be successful in this role? When the requirements of a job require an individual to operate outside of how they are naturally wired to perform, it has the potential to cause stress and reduce the likelihood of success in a role. We strive to identify individuals whose natural behaviors align with the job profile you have created.
Aptitude
Research shows that aptitude is one of the most accurate predictors of job success: twice as predictive as job interviews, three times as predictive as experience, and four times as predictive as education level. We utilize a number of tools to ensure that all presented candidates show a high level of aptitude for the skill sets necessary for the available role.
Drive
An individual may have all of the experience that your organization is looking for, however, their ultimate success with your company depends far more on their inner drive.

Evaluation
Lunova provides a professional evaluation for each candidate’s background and character to align ideal candidates with your company.
Background
Do they have the experience necessary to be successful in the role without a substantial training and ramp up period?
Core Characteristics
We use a behavioral interview model to determine if the individual will exhibit the core characteristics necessary to be successful in a role with your organization. We identify factors like communication skills, interpersonal skills, decision making ability, general knowledge, self development, motivational elements, and several other factors relevant to a role.
Fit
What good is identifying an ideal candidate if they are no longer with your company in six months, because your organization did not align with them as an individual?
We spend time to determine:
- If their long-term plans in line with yours
- If they are a good fit with your company’s culture
- If they are a good fit with existing team members and their potential manager
Selection
Our group helps you narrow down position finalists, make appropriate and winning offers, while staying in touch throughout the process to ensure the candidate is retained.
Review
We will meet with your team to review candidate finalists and help you determine who will be the best fit for your organization.
Offer
We help you manage the time-consuming and often complicated process of making an offer, ensuring acceptance of the offer, and on-boarding your new employee.

- Any other issues that may prevent your organization and the ideal candidates from forming a long-term professional relationship.
Onboarding
We will work with your organization and the successful candidate to ensure that their transition to your organization is a smooth as possible. This can be a stressful time for a new employee. We look to minimize the stressful components and focus on the excitement of a new challenge with your organization
Retain
What good is finding that perfect candidate if they don’t stay with your organization long-term? We stay in touch to ensure that minor concerns or annoyances can be addressed before they become relationship ending problems. We leverage both our relationship with your organization and with the candidate to greatly improve the likelihood of a long-term fit.
